There and Back Again...

Sim, eu sei que passei muito tempo sem escrever! :(

Novamente peço desculpas e coloco a culpa na falta de tempo. Depois de trabalhar várias horas por dia, a última coisa que eu quero é passar tempo na frente do computador, hehehe. As coisas no trabalho estão mais loucas que o normal. Eu sei que o trabalho não tá fácil para ningúem, que com o passar do tempo chegam mais responsabilidades e você passa a ter menos tempo livre. Mas sério, a situação tá ficando tensa e eu já sinto que a minha saúda está ficando meio afetada por causa disso! Pode me chamar de fresca, folgada e de viadinha, haha, mas como eu já disse antes, não espero que as minhas memórias de Hong Kong se resumam ao tempo que passei enfurnada no escritório!

De qualquer maneira, no momento não posso reclamar: neste exato momento estou no Aeroporto de Dubai esperando meu voo rumo a São Paulo! É minha gente, estou voltando! :D Mas é apenas por duas semanas, e a trabalho, ou seja, indo a eventos, visitando clientes e etc. Mas não importa, estou super feliz de poder voltar e é surreal imaginar que em algumas horas (já tenho toda a cena preparada na minha cabeça) vou estar no aeroporto de São Paulo, minha mãe me abraçando como louca, hahaha, e pegar o caminho tão familiar do aeroporto para a minha casa, minha rua, meu prédio, minha casa e minha cama! E aproveitar para rever meus amigos e colocar as fofocas em dia, hehe ;)

Eu sei que passei a minha vida inteira no Brasil, e apenas 10 meses em Hong Kong, mas certamente vou ter o famoso “choque cultural reverso”, estar num ambiente onde todos falam a minha língua, sem chineses ao meu redor, onde eu sei como as coisas funcionam, mas infelizmente também sei que não funcionam muito bem.

Fora esta grande novidade, está tudo bão comigo! Semana passada passei o feriado da páscoa em Beijing (Pequim)!!! A cidade é muito bonita e espaçosa, completamente diferente de Hong Kong nesse sentido! Beijing é limpa, as ruas são super largas e tem vários prédios modernos.

Yes, I know I spent too long without writing! :(

Once again, I apologize and blame on the lack of time for writing. After working extra hours every day the last thing I want is to go home and use a computer. Things at work are crazier than normal. I know that work is not easy for anyone and that as time passes by you acquire more responsibilities and have less free time. But come on, if you could see the way I’ve been working lately, it’s even beginning to affect my health! Call me lazyass, I don’t care, but the last thing I want to do is to have my Hong Kong memories related to spending hours and hours at the office.

Anyway, in this exact moment I am in no position to complain: I am at the Dubai airport waiting on my flight to São Paulo, Brazil! That’s right people, I’m coming home! :D But it’s only for two weeks, and is a business trip, which means that most of the time I’ll be going to events and visiting clients. But it doesn’t matter, I am super excited about going home and I still can’t believe that in some hours (I have it all pictured in my mind, haha) my mom will be hugging me like crazy, and I will take that familiar route from the airport to my house, my street, my building, my apartment and my bed! And of course, meet my friends and update them on everything. ;)

I know I spent my whole life in Brazil and just 10 months in Hong Kong, but I am sure I will have the “reverse cultural shock”, and be in an environment where everyone speaks my language, without Chinese-looking people around me and in a place where I know how stuff works, but at the same time knowing that they do not work very well. We’ll see how it goes!

Apart from this big news, everything is a-ok with me! Last week I spent the Easter holidays in Beijing! The city is so pretty, the streets are wide, is clean (except for the air) and lots of cool and modern buildings.
